Cambodia
The temples of Angkor and a warm, resilient spirit.
Cambodia's soul is Angkor, the vast medieval city of temples where Angkor Wat rises over the jungle at dawn. Beyond it lies the riverside calm of Battambang, the colonial character of Phnom Penh and the southern coast around Kep and Kampot, where pepper farms meet quiet beaches. It is intimate, moving and deeply authentic.
Best time to visit
November to March is the cool, dry season and the best time to visit. April is extremely hot; the rainy season from May to October brings green landscapes and fewer crowds.
